Design of a NEMA 4 compatible intelligent remote control system that detects the level of certain dissolved gases in the insulation oil of large utility transformers. Design of an intelligent data entry and retrieval system with a built-in small printer for generating custom labels for production of specialty paints.

The unit
consists of a keypad, a full feature graphic monochrome LCD and a printer. The
data base for more than 1,200 different colors is built-in the printer's
software. The user then needs only to enter the code for the color mix
required, the preferred cans size and the total size of the order. The unit at
that point will, automatically, print all the required labels for that order.
The labels are sent to the production area where the order is mixed and
prepared for pick-up.
